Although Big Tech seems to dominate the internet, our online environment is primarily made up of small and medium sized platforms. If these services have user-generated content on them, they are exposed to the same systemic risks that plague very large online platforms. The Digital Services Act (DSA) is a step forward in mitigating such risks and puts new rules in place. But are the smaller players ready for the DSA?
